This service started in
1986 with the purpose of serving foreigners who have
joined the Coptic Orthodox Church or who work in Cairo
and are willing to know more about the Coptic Church
Some of the regular services presented in
English:
The holy mass every third
Saturday of each month which is followed by a breakfast
assembly then a Bible study or a talk about any
spiritual topic
During the Passover week, one day is scheduled to
perform the Passover prayers in English by father
Youhanna Thabet and father Boules Magdy
Other irregular services:
- Baptism of foreigners
who join the Coptic Church
- Home blessing prayers
- Confessions
- Wedding ceremonies if either of the marrying couple is
joining the Coptic
Orthodox Church
It is worth mentioning
that our church receives many foreign groups throughout
the whole year, who are willing to learn about the
Coptic rituals
Each year, on the Great
Friday and the holy mass of resurrection, the church
receives a foreign group who attends the prayers |
